
The most common type of reading list link used in MyPlace is the link to view the full reading list in a new window. However, there are two other types of reading list links that can be added to a MyPlace page. You may wish to add a Section or Citation link.

To add a link from your MyPlace page to a particular Section of the reading list follow these steps:
1. Turn on Editing in your MyPlace page and select Add an Activity or Resource.
2. Select the Library Reading List tool.
3. Choose the Select content button and a new window will open.
4. Now tick the box for the Reading List Section you want to link to. You may need to collapse the reading list to section view to see all your sections. Use the Manage Sections option to collapse the view. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window and confirm your selection.
5. The Section name will now be listed as the Activity name. You can amend the display name if you wish.
6. Save and return to class.
To add a link from your MyPlace page to a particular Citation of the reading list follow these steps:
1. Turn on Editing in your MyPlace page and select Add an Activity or Resource.
2. Select the Library Reading List tool.
3. Choose the Select content button and a new window will open.
4. Now tick the box for the Reading List Citation you want to link to. You can collapse the reading list to section view to easily navigate to the correct citation or use the Search option to find the citation. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window and confirm your selection.
5. The Citation name will now be listed as the Activity name. You can amend the display name if you wish.
6. Save and return to class.
