You can export a reading list in various formats by selecting Export in the reading list menu.
You can export to a proprietary Leganto (reading list software) format (.lgn file) or to DOC (Microsoft Word), PDF, XLS (Microsoft Excel), RIS, or ENW (EndNote) formats.
If you export to Leganto or RIS format, you, or any user who has access to the exported list, can import the list into a reading list at a later time.
There are 2 options for exporting reading list references to EndNote.
(a) Export the whole list using the export option from the List menu.
(b) Export a section of the reading list using the export option from the Section menu.
Select Export to download an .enw file (for example LegantoEndNote) to your Downloads folder on your computer.
To view your exported references: open EndNote, select Import File and adjust the Import Option.
You will find your recently added references from the reading list in the "Recently Added" section and "Imported References" folders of your EndNote Library.
In EndNote select the references or group you wish to export to a reading list.
Name your file and ensure it ends with .ris
Change the Output Style to RefMan (RIS) Export by using the drop down and Select Another Style.
Open your reading list and select Add, Import references and browse for your RIS file.
NB. References imported from EndNote will not contain library links. Contact library staff to add these for you.
