How to add a reading list Section or Citation link to the MyPlace page

On completion of your reading list, you may want to add a Section or Citation link to your MyPlace page.

Adding a Section link to MyPlace

Step 1:

Add a reading list link to your MyPlace page:

Turn on Editing > Add an activity or resource > select Reading List

Add an appropriate label for your link e.g. "Reading for Week 1" and Save and return to class.

 

Step 2: Optional

When adding the reading list link above you may wish to add the setting for the information to open in a new page.

After adding the label > Show more > change Launch Container to New Window.

 

Step 3:

Select your newly added reading list link to open the list and choose Edit Section & Relink LTI link to here

Step 4:

Acknowledge the pop-up and message

The relevant section will now display with all other parts of the reading list collapsed. 

Adding a Citation link to MyPlace

Step 1:

Add a reading list link to your MyPlace page:

Turn on Editing > Add an activity or resource > select Reading List

Add an appropriate label for your link e.g. "Persinger article" and Save and return to class.

 

Step 2: Optional

When adding the reading list link above you may wish to add the setting for the information to open in a new page.

After adding the label > Show more > change Launch Container to New Window.

 

Step 3:

Select your newly added reading list link to open the list and choose Edit Section & Relink LTI link to here

Acknowledge the pop-up and message

The relevant resource will now display.
