eBooks at Strathclyde: SAGE knowledge

SAGE knowledge provides access to Ebooks published by Sage and associate publishers.

You have access to over 2000 titles, all of which are available to print, download or read online.  There is unlimited concurrent user access, which allows a whole class to use the same ebook at the same time.  Access is provided to the following subject collections:

• Business
• Education
• Health
• Psychology
• Sociology

Finding Ebooks on SAGE knowledge

When you find a SAGE knowledge Ebook in SUPrimo, click the "Electronic resource" link.

Logging-on

If you are off-campus you will need to login:

• From the Sage Knowledge page for the book you want to view, select the Login option, which is located beneath the bibliographic information about the book;
• From the Sage Knowledge Login screen, select Login via your institution
• From the list of institutions, scroll down and select University of Strathclyde and click Go to Login
• You may find that you are taken to the Sage Knowledge Homepage rather than back to the specific book you wanted, if this happens use the search box and search by the title of the book you want to use.

You will not need to login if you are on-campus.

Can I read all the Ebooks on SAGE knowledge?

No, you have access to the following collections:

• Business
• Education
• Health
• Psychology
• Sociology

If you want to limit a search in SAGE knowledge to resources you can access, search using your chosen terms, and from the results, select the option Available to me and click Go to refine the search.

Items which show a locked padlock symbol ahead of the title  are not available to you.  Items with no padlock are available.

All the titles available to you can be found on SUPrimo.

We recommend using Firefox, Chrome or Safari to read SAGE Knowledge ebooks as there have been reported issues when using Internet Explorer. 

When you click the book image or title you will be taken to the record on SUPrimo, from here you can connect to the ebook.
