|Passport||Passport are currently undergoing work to upgrade the authentication system. We experienced some disruption related to this, with users experiencing a ‘Server Error’ message when attempting to access Passport. Passport have applied a fix which has addressed this access problem, however work to upgrade the authentication system is still ongoing. |Nexis||Nexis has recently moved to a new platform. There is a known problem where a 'Get It now!' button is displaying against certain content. Nexis are aware of the problem and working to resolve this. Nexis has confirmed that we are entitled to access this content. If a Get It Now! button appears next to content you wish to view, please do click the button to access the content.||09-10-2019|
|IOP Science platform (Institute of Physics)||Web browsers currently display a security warning on the IOP Science platform, warning that parts of the page (such as image) may not be secure. The warning appears when users are authenticated on the site. The error is due to the branding and logo images; however the site connection is secure. |Westlaw||Westlaw UK moves to a new platform on Monday 5th April. Work is ongoing to update SUPrimo catalogue records to reflect the new platform. If SUPrimo records are missing, or contain broken links, please access Westlaw using our Westlaw A-Z Database record. |Emerald Insight platform - Emerald eJournal and eBook content||
Emerald's new Emerald Insight platform (https://www.emeraldinsight.com/) goes live early July 2019. The exact date has not been confirmed. Please note that a few things won't be available straight away on the new platform: teaching notes will not be directly accessible from the site in the early stages of migration [contact Customer Support (firstname.lastname@example.org), who will supply you with the materials you require]; and user profile (My profile) section won't be available immediately.
NEW SITE LAUNCHES early July 2019
|ASCE Library||'Find it@Strathclyde' links from the References against ASCE content are currently not working as expected. Primo indicates no online available, even when Strathclyde does have online access. This has been reported to the publisher, who is currently investigating.||15-08-2019|
|ASME Digital Library||There is a known problem with PDF links to ASME ‘Brief Notes’ content on the ASME Digital Collection platform. ASME are aware of this issue and are working on a solution, however there is no timeframe for when this will be resolved. Please see our help guide for assistance.
