English Studies and Creative Writing: Literary Criticism

How to find literary criticism in the Andersonian Library

To find critical works on a specific author, use the SUPrimo search service, and search Library Collections. Enter the author’s name, click Search, and then select from the Subject category in the Search Limit options on the left of the screen. For example, for critical works on Edmund Spenser, enter Spenser into the Search box, click Search, and then from the Subject category Search Limit option on the left of the screen, select Edmund Spenser.

Extracts from published criticism, full-text biographies and bibliographies of more than 120,000 authors can also be found online in the Literature Resource Center.

Search JSTOR and OmniFile for full-text electronic journal articles.
