As exam season approaches, the Library isn’t just a brilliant study space on campus. We are also here to help you feel more prepared and supported. Whether you need a quiet place to focus, some motivation or a friendly chat over a cup of tea, we have you covered.

Exam preparation  

Our Exam Preparation sessions are hosted by colleagues from Learner Development Services. They will cover preparation, studying and performance in these short, motivational sessions. Follow the links below to book your place:

Exam breakfasts

Back by popular demand, our Exam Breakfasts will be running in the Library again this year. Join us to start your day with fruit, tea and coffee. Why not take some time out and chat with staff and students, before getting back to your studies?

Join us:

  • on level 3 of the Library, near the entrance
  • on weekdays from 22 April – 16 May (except Monday 5 May)
  • from 09:00 to 10:00

Wellbeing stall

Exams can be stressful, but you’re not alone. Visit our Wellbeing Stall on level 3 of the Library. There will be helpful resources, study guides and books from our Wellbeing Collection.  

Find the perfect study space

We’ve got a variety of study spaces to suit your needs: 

  • prefer a quiet space for solo study? We have lots of individual desks, hidden away for maximum focus
  • studying with friends? Our small bookable rooms are perfect for working together
  • love natural light? Grab a seat by the windows and enjoy the sunshine
