Librarians are well known for asking people to shush, aren’t they? But it’s not just librarians – sometimes students in the Library want other students to shush too.
If you are studying in a silent area and there are others who are noisy or behaving in an unacceptable way you can anonymously report this to staff using our online noise reporting form. Tell us where it’s happening and our friendly Library Operations Assistant team will step in to help.
When and How to Reach Us
The online noise reporting form is monitored during these hours:
- Monday – Friday 07:00-21:00
- Saturday – Sunday 09:00-17:00
If you need help outwith these times you can go to the Library Welcome Desk on Level 3 for assistance.
A Library Space for Everyone
We like to think that the Library is a welcoming space, offering lots of different types of spaces for all your study needs. So if you are working on a group project, prefer to study in pairs or want to take a break and chat with your friends then we do have spaces for that too. Level 2 is the main group study floor.
Check out our Find a place to study webpage for more information, and to find a study space appropriate to your needs.
