Waterstones children's book prize - Voted by booksellers.

 

The Lollies

The Lollies - The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards - awarded to funniest book. Voted by parents, teachers and children. Replaces the Roald Dahl Funny prize.

Costa Prize

Costa Prize - UK and Ireland  based authors. Five categories with the winner of the children's book prize being judged alongside the other categories for the main prize. Voted by judging panel.

YA Book Prize - Bookseller magazine

Little Rebels Prize

Now in its 11th year, the Little Rebels Award is designed to recognise the rich tradition of radical publishing for children in the UK. Currently the award  is restricted to fiction targeted at children aged 0-12.

The award is given by the Alliance of Radical Booksellers.

Guardian newspaper prize for children's books

Guardian children's book prize - for children's fiction 8 years and above. Voted by writers.

Kelpies Prize - Encouraging new Scottish writing for children's books. Awarded to unpublished Scottish children's fiction. Set up in 2004.
