Women’s Voices and Life Writing provides access to collections of primary sources from across Britain and Ireland. Covering four centuries from 1600 to 1968 this archive can be used to find material about the lives of women, written in their own words. Topics covered include gender, race, class, disability, sexuality and ageing. Historical events covered include witch trials, the World Wars, suffrage and feminist movements. Women's Voices and Life Writing includes diaries, letters, oral history resources, photographs, poetry and more.
