Archives: Items and records acquired by the University. Includes the University Archives (the official records of the University of Strathclyde from 1796 to the present day) and Deposited Archives (various items and documents acquired by gift or deposit to support the University’s teaching and research).

Literature search and review

A literature search is a systematic search for information on a particular topic. It depends on the level you are at, the time you have and the size of project as to how comprehensive a literature search you conduct. After you have carried out your search you can conduct a literature review which is a critical analysis of the existing literature on your topic.
